Only the badest Judens out there

The Rebellious Son

When Chaim Yavin filmed the land of the settlers in 2005, he had no idea the can of worms he was about to open. Since then no shortage of films have been made trying to understand the mind of the Israeli “settler”, a person that seems ideologically light years away from the majority of people in the Cinemateques. “The Rebellious Son”, or as I like to call it the “Rebbelious son” (bad joke), is a beautiful documentary about a boy who decides to drop out of school to become a shepperd in the hills of Hebron. The director, Shoshi Greenfield, uses the boys dreams of quiet recluse to relate his identity to the average Jew.

Eztiongever gives this film (sideways eight) thumbs up………..

i apologize for the lack of subtitles
